Our Story

In March 2023, ACE Horsemanship was born out of a shared passion for the art of horsemanship and the desire to foster a community where individuals could grow as riders, trainers, and stewards of the equestrian world. Founded by Daryl L. Fletcher Sr., a respected equine specialist, the organization was built on the pillars of Accountability, Commitment, and Excellence (ACE)—core values that shaped its vision for empowering people to become better horsemen and women.

Let the writing speak for itself. Keep a consistent tone and voice throughout the website to stay true to the brand image and give visitors a taste of the company’s values and personality.

Accountability

Accountability is the foundation of ACE Horsemanship. It calls on members to take full responsibility for their actions, decisions, and outcomes—both in their interactions with horses and in their personal development. Being accountable means showing up consistently, following through on commitments, and being honest about successes and areas for growth.
In the arena, accountability is about recognizing that a horse’s behavior often mirrors the rider’s actions. If a horse is struggling to follow a cue, the rider must reflect on their technique and make adjustments. Members of ACE Horsemanship learn to embrace accountability as a powerful tool for growth, understanding that the path to mastery begins with taking responsibility for every step.

Committment

Commitment is the driving force behind success at ACE Horsemanship. It’s the dedication to a process of continuous improvement, no matter how challenging the journey may be. Members learn that commitment requires patience, consistency, and resilience in the face of setbacks.
This value shines through in every training session, whether it’s a rider learning basic groundwork or mastering complex maneuvers. Commitment isn’t just about showing up—it’s about staying focused, putting in the effort, and being fully present in the moment. For members of ACE Horsemanship, commitment reflects their deep desire to grow as horsemen and build lasting, meaningful connections with their horses.

Excellence

Excellence is the ultimate goal of ACE Horsemanship. It’s about striving for the highest standards in every aspect of horsemanship, from riding techniques to horse care and personal growth. Excellence isn’t limited to skill—it’s a mindset that encourages members to go beyond mediocrity and pursue their personal best.
For ACE members, excellence means being attentive to the details that matter most—whether that’s the quality of their communication with their horse, the time spent improving their skills, or their respect for the animal’s needs. Excellence is not about perfection; it’s about giving their best effort and continuously raising the bar for themselves.

Our Mission

Our mission at A.C.E is to transform the curious into capable, and the capable into champions. We stand to be the beacon of the equine world, unwaveringly committed to harnessing and enhancing the skills of riders of all levels. We aspire to amplify the contributions of minority communities, casting the limelight on their instrumental role in shaping the equine sphere.

Through education, training, and promoting a shared sense of community, we strive to erase boundaries and foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and admiration for the noble art of horsemanship.
